Important Information!!

1. We’re expanding our Second Check-In! The economy is bringing lots of shoppers, so we will be restocking on
Sunday, July 25 from 1pm – 5pm and also on Monday, July 26 from 11am – 5pm.
Here are the requirements:
- Any Adult Sale Items – follow regular drop-off guidelines
- Any Toys – follow regular drop-off guidelines – no shoes, books, or videos
- Boys Clothing – sizes newborn to 8 Girls Clothing – sizes 24ms to 6
- All items must be discounted – exceptions may be made for large ticket items, please ask us
- Everything must be tagged using our online computer tags
- You bring it – It will sell!!
2. Junior sizes will be limited to 15 hanging items per size.
3. Please, Please use the online tag form!! Not only is it a time-saver: no more waiting in line for labels, no more emailing for them either! It is also the best way to guard against bar coding mistakes, no more misreading handwriting or mistyping numbers. You can check every bar code yourself. The updated tag form gives you the option to print six different cards on one sheet if you need to or to print 6 identical cards. The online tags drastically reduce the margin of error and that's important because it's how you get paid!
You will need white 8-1/2" x 11" CARDSTOCK. You can get paper packs at Walmart, Michaels, Target, and Office Depot.
Another way to use the cards efficiently is to get a permanent consignor number from Connie,(

) that way you can use any leftover cards at the next sale. You can even print up cards all at one time, leaving the descriptions blank. I use a shoebox and file the cards in price order. Then I tag while watching a movie and hand-write the descriptions in as needed.
Important: If you use handwritten cards, please bring a tally sheet with the number of barcode labels needed for each price increment for your clothing only. This is easiest done by listing any with ND and then any that will be discounted. Click here for an example.
4. We are excited to bring back our Consignor Appreciation Rewards! On PreSale, we'll be randomly handing these out as you enter the building at 5pm.
10 – Go to the Front of the Check-Out Line passes
10 - $10 Encores gift certificates
5 – Shop ½ price on Friday passes
5 - Guaranteed Shopping Carts
These awards will be given out on presale night before the sale starts. We really do appreciate all our consignors and are grateful for your business! Good Luck to you all and no coveting by those who do not win….
5. If at all possible, please do not bring purses or diaper bags into the sale building with you (tuck your credit card and ID in your pocket!) If you choose to bring these types of items in, please do not be offended when your bag is searched as you leave the building.
6. Starting with the Spring 2010 sale, our flyers will come via email in PDF format. Please be sure you keep your current email on file with us. This can be done when you apply for a consignor number or by joining our mailing list. Our mailing list software edits duplicates, so don’t worry if you are duplicating a previous entry or not. Be sure to tell all of your friends to sign up also. You can easily print our flyer off the home page of our web site.
7.If you are bringing a breast pump to resell, we will be keeping all the parts to the pump at check out to stop shoppers from mixing up or losing the pieces. You need to attach your price tag index card to the bag itself in the normal way, but store all the pieces in a large ziploc bag. On a separate piece of paper, make 2 copies of a detail listing of all the parts. Be sure to put your consignor number and the price of the pump on each copy. You may want to list the retail price and any other information that would help it sell. Attach one copy to the pump bag and securely tape the second copy to the ziploc bag. We will have a special display for the bags informing shoppers to get the rest of it at check out.
8. Unfortunately, we have to address the issue of dishonest people at our sale . We are looking to barter for security work, both uniformed and non, to help keep a watchful eye at drop off and during the sale itself. We also are aware of people switching tags on things, especially clothing, so on your higher priced items, we strongly urge you to cover the safety pin on the card using a heavy-duty packaging tape, making it difficult for anyone unpin the card. You can also help us by being observant any time you're at the sale, and notify us if you see anything unusual, such as someone unpinning cards or acting in a suspicious manner.
9. Another way we are trying to make drop-off go more quickly is for you to bring your non-hanging items in disposable containers such as cardboard boxes or large shopping bags. That will save time waiting for us to empty the containers and get them back to you. There will be separate drop off stations for the adult and children's items this time, so be sure they are in separate boxes. It will also help tremendously if you drop-off your shoes all together in one container, inspecting them will go quicker that way. (Remember, do not package shoes, books, movies, or CDs in plastic bags. They get separated from their price tag and/or bag so easily--then we cannot sell them nor give them back to the proper consignor. Please see the Tagging Page for the ideal way to package them.)
10. The space is so large that we will be having both the children's and adult/home decor sales at the same time. You can drop off and pick up for both sales at the same time. Drop-off dates are exactly the same as the children’s drop-off. We want you to consign in both sales, but please do so wisely. If you only put one small item in, you won't cover the fees, so bring at least $50 worth to make it worth your while. We do charge a participant’s fee for each sale, just as we've always done, but don't forget, there is an easy way to have your fee waived at the adult sale. Check the adult website for details.
Running simultaneous sales will be very convenient for drop-off and pick-up, but there will be an important addition to your tagging. All adult/home décor items must have the letter “A” at the end of the consignor number. Example: kids item = 202, adult item = 202A
