Recognizing a unique opportunity for all parties involved, we created Encores Consignment over 16 years ago in Brentwood, TN (a bedroom community to Nashville). At the time, the concept of children’s consignment was still in it’s infancy, and did have a small presence in the Middle TN area, but we had a strong desire to do things a little differently, and become the best!
Over the last 16 years, God has blessed us with incredible growth and incredible friends. The first sale was very modest; 50 consignors in a 2 car garage….my how things have changed – we now have over 1200 consignors and inhabit over 60,000 square feet!!
Our success has not been by chance, but a result of clear goals, careful planning, and God’s blessing. All along the way, we have striven for excellence in each area of our business, we’ve sought out fresh ideas, and adopted a “never stop learning” attitude. We feel these attitudes have contributed to our success. Like everything else in life, experience is the best teacher, and we’d like to pass our valuable experience on to you.
Due to multiple requests, and a desire to help others build consignment events in their own communities, we’ve set up a “recession- friendly” business model that you can buy into. We’ve already started over 12 sales nationwide, and each has become hugely successful in a very short amount of time…….numerous testimonials support this fact.
